When Cassandra approached Sleigh with her vision for Women Run America, she had a lot of ideas, but nothing concrete that felt solid enough to make into a mission statement. She also knew that she needed a classic logo that could be both feminine and fierce. We opted for a typographic logo using a modern san serif font paired with a script font that highlights an integral part of the brand: Run. We also opted for a second identity system that featured the silhouette of a girl running against the backdrop of an American flag using the brand’s colors. Finally, we constructed a tagline and mission statement that focused on running, not just physically, but also professionally. The finished product was a brand kit that will serve as the cornerstone of their future brand choices.
